چکیده
Abstract The synchronization between the air pressure fluctuations and depth of liquid penetration into nozzle during bubble departures was investigated using joint recurrence quantification analysis. In experiment, bubbles were generated from a glass distilled water. During analysis, recurrent rate coefficients calculated for changes in gas supply system. study conducted by two volume flow rates, i.e. 0.023 l/min 0.026 l/min. rates selected so that appearance disappearance period clearly visible. Stereoscopic high−speed recording of bubble structures
Formations of acoustic cavitation bubbles in various resonator set−ups are recorded by high− speed stereoscopic means. The bubble distributions and motions are reconstructed in three dimensions. Such data is a key for better understanding of the mechanisms taking place in applications of intense ultrasound in liquids. Furthermore, the data serves for verification and improvement of particle mod...
متن کاملMental Fatigue Assessment using recording Brain Signals: Electroencephalography
Background and Objectives: Mental fatigue is a condition triggered by prolonged cognitive activity. Mental fatigue causes brain over-activity. This is a condition where the brain cells become exhausted, hampering person productivity, and overall cognitive function. The aim of this study was to assess students’ mental fatigue using brain indices. Methods: The present descriptive - analytic stud...
متن کاملMulti-electrode arrays technology for the non-invasive recording of neural signals: a review article
The recording of electrophysiological activities of brain neurons in the last half-century has been considered as one of the effective tools for the development of neuroscience. One of the techniques for recording the activity of nerve cells is the multi-electrode arrays (MEAs). Microelectrode arrays (MEAs) are usually employed to record electrical signals from electrogenic cells like neurons o...
متن کاملCombination of Beamforming and Synchronization Methods for Epileptic Source Localization, using Simulated EEG Signals
Localization of sources in patients with focal seizure has recently attracted many attentions. In the severe cases of focal seizure, there is a possibility of doing neurosurgery operation to remove the defected tissue. The prosperity of this heavy operation completely depends on the accuracy of source localization. To increase this accuracy, this paper presents a new weighted beamforming method...
متن کاملStereoscopic high - speed recording of bubble filaments q
Filamentary formations of acoustic cavitation bubbles in an ultrasonic resonator are recorded by high-speed stereoscopic means. The bubble locations and motions are reconstructed in three dimensions, and a velocity distribution of bubbles is obtained. Experimental bubble trajectories are compared to a one-to-one simulation by a particle modeling approach which shows reasonable agreement. Such i...
